Vision Through The Eyes of Truth
Reading scripture through God’s eyes, we will see that He truly loves us. Through the obedience and faith of Jesus, the same act that was done in parallel to the offering of Isaac. We then see how God truly is faithful to those who are faithful to Him.
Lord God, help me see, see the world through your eyes.
The eyes that have limitless mercy and a loving patience.
When doubt and fear enter my heart, help me renew my faith, because your faithfulness knows no bounds.
I want to respond in kind, but my flesh has its own struggles and wants.
Help me see beyond my senses and beyond my thoughts.
In this personal and spiritual war of the soul, help me to be humble and magnify those who have gone before me.
But most of all, let my Spirit be one that magnifies Christ.
So that my life is seen not only as my fruit but as the fruit of those who have seen you as the true vine.
Help me see beyond your mighty hand, Lord God, so I could see how the faith is retained through your people.
So much has been done in the defense of the faith and the promotion of the gospel for it to be where it is now.
None of this is possible without You, Lord God… for in you all things are possible.
